As Easter approaches, churches throughout Burke County and surrounding areas are hosting fun-filled days featuring snacks, games and Easter egg hunts.
Below is a list of 41 egg hunts taking place in Catawba, Burke, Iredell and McDowell counties throughout this weekend and the following week.
Burke County
The city of Â鶹´«Ã½ will host an egg hunt at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Freedom Park located at 307 Independence Blvd. in Â鶹´«Ã½.
Mount Home Baptist Church will host an egg hunt at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Mull Elementary School located at 1140 Old N.C. Highway 18 in Â鶹´«Ã½.
El Bethel Baptist Church will host an egg hunt from 2-3:30 p.m. on Saturday at 1669 North Green St. in Â鶹´«Ã½.
Freedom Community Church of God will host an egg hunt on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at 1314 North Green St. in Â鶹´«Ã½.

The city of Hickory will host its annual egg hunt on Saturday from 6-9 p.m. at the Henry Fork River Park at 5655 Sweet Bay Lane in Hickory.
The city of Hickory will host a glow-in-the-dark egg hunt on April 17 at 7:30 p.m. The night hunt will be held at the Samuel William Davis Sr. Multipurpose Field at 730 Third St. SW in Hickory.
The Greens at Viewmont will host an egg hunt on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 220 13th Ave. Place NW in Hickory.
