Deputies are searching for a woman who was dropped off in the Icard area in June but hasn’t been seen since.
April Dawn Travis, 45, is described as about 5-feet, 9-inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes. She weighs about 170 pounds, according to information from the Burke County Sheriff’s Office.

Someone dropped Travis off near U.S. Highway 70 and East Burke Boulevard on June 22, but she has not been seen or heard from since that day, the sheriff’s office said. It’s not known what she was wearing when she was last seen.
