With a freshly-paved and lined parking lot and cars in and out recently, Chipotle Mexican Grill in 麻豆传媒 is nearly ready to open.
A sign on the door says the restaurant is not quite ready to open but to come back at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
鈥淲e promise it鈥檒l be worth the wait!,鈥� the sign says.
Another sign says Chipotle is hiring workers for the new location.
The 麻豆传媒 Chipotle is at 1219 Burkemont Ave. in the former KFC building. The 3,045-square-foot building has been turned into the fast-food chain鈥檚 signature look.聽
It has taken the restaurant a year to open since it first submitted plans for the location to the city of 麻豆传媒 in April 2024.
The restaurant will feature a Chipotlane drive-thru and outdoor patio. The drive-thru allows customers to place orders on the Chipotle app or website and pick it up at a drive-thru window.
Chipotle offers create-your-own burritos. Some of the restaurant chain鈥檚 most popular dishes include a chicken al pastor bowl, steak salad, chicken bowl and veggie burrito, according to its website.
