A man who has been missing since February was found dead in early April.
Kenneth 鈥淜enny鈥� Ray Phillips, 61, was found dead Saturday, April 5, near Taylor Avenue in Connelly Springs, according to information from the Burke County Sheriff鈥檚 Office.
There were no signs of foul play, the sheriff鈥檚 office said.
Phillips was last seen at his home on Berea Church Road Extension in Connelly Springs on Feb. 20. He was reported missing on Feb. 22, the sheriff鈥檚 office said.
The sheriff鈥檚 office and Burke County Emergency Management, the Burke County Rescue Squad and Icard Township Fire and Rescue conducted several area searches on Feb. 22 and 23, but did not find him during the searches.
