Volunteers

NEEDED

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is
looking for people age 21 or older to volunteer in long-term care facilities in their
home county. Community Advisory Committee volunteers help families advocate
for their loved ones living in North Carolina long-term care facilities such as
nursing homes, assisted living facilities and family care homes.
Volunteers must be 21 or older and complete orientation and training to become
designated representatives of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program.
